evaluation lesson 1 drawing class

Date: 07/01/16

Today we produced a series of experiments on an A1 piece of paper.
The experiments we completed were: drawing with the opposite hand , drawing with continuous line, drawing with two pens taped together, drawing a detailed head with shading in pen, drawing the outline of the bird, drawing with ink, painting the bird with full colour using card to paint with and not a paint brush, drawing with chalk on a stick over these experiments, drawing with illumination paint.
We then got another piece of A1 and looked at our chosen bird for one minute and took in what we were about to draw, we then drew it with our opposite hand with chalk on a stick on the A1 sheet. These experiments were all timed and we had about a minute to complete most of them.

I got good feedback saying that my work was good and that the drawing of the outline shape was good and that the teacher liked it.

Two things that went well were, firstly was the opposite hand drawings i felt as though i had slightly more control of my opposite hand than i did last time and the drawing came out better. Secondly was my outline drawing of the bird, i felt as though the shape was quit accurate and looked like the actual bird i was drawing.

I could improve on taking more time to adding in detail in the bird drawings and try to add more features like the feathers instead of just drawing the outline for the most of it.
